Free Training and Installation
All equipment is supplied, installed and serviced by Digitech Business Equipment personnel. Once you have reached a decision on the type of equipment you require, initial training is provided free of charge. All of our quotes include full standalone installation. Most network installations are also carried out free and can be installed in partnership with your existing IT manager. Should it be necessary we can arrange a number of tuition sessions so as to minimise any downtime in your office processes. This has the benefit of improved customer understanding and reduces the number of service calls required.Service Response
In our industry there is big emphasis on service response. The problem is that some companies do not fully explain what response is! At Digitech Business Equipment we believe response starts as soon as you call, fax or email your request, sometimes even before (see email status below.) We take our service response statistics from when we receive your action until when a fully qualified technician arrives at your premises. We are always working on new ways to reduce our averages and over the 19 years in business we have learned that preventative maintenance is key. All of our contracted copier printers are subject to our rigorous service regimes and all supplies/parts fitted are original OEM manufacturers. All incoming calls are logged to ensure that we can keep a check on response times, and maintain high standards. Few service support companies in similar industries can match our real response times. We are always looking for ways to streamline our service system, which is why we fully participate in Sharps email alert system. The advanced email status and alert feature found on Sharp's printers and copiers permits your device to report any problems directly to your IT department by email. Since networked printers and copiers are commonly used by large groups of people, they are often located far away from the person responsible for keeping the unit running. Email messages are an ideal way of informing the person that some action is required, for example add more paper, clear a paper jam, refill the toner.For improved service and quality, Digitech Business Equipment s email address can be added such that the device reports any problems directly to us. This ingenious mechanism ensures that support and maintenance providers are immediately aware of the device status, and can escalate support when the device requests rather than wait until your users complain of a problem. In addition, a status message from the copier can be scheduled on a periodical basis, which contains the usage counter information. Digitech can provide accurate billing automatically without the need to request data, or make a visit to your office.
